Case summary
The resident of Petrozavodsk. In August 2022, he was detained after a search in the case of "fakes" about the Armed Forces. He said that during the search in the case of "fakes", officers put a gun to his neck. The court chose a measure of restraint in the form of prohibition of certain actions. On 29 February 2024, Pogosyan was sentenced to six years in strict regime penal colony.
Previously, Pogosyan had served his sentence in different penal colonies in Karelia. He said that he was subjected to torture. A criminal case was initiated against the staff of Penal colony 9.
