Case summary

A resident of Kirov, owner of the Black Clover club. On the night of 1 to 2 November 2024, she was detained in the club. According to her, on the way to the flat where she lived, she was threatened with life imprisonment. The flat was searched.

A case was opened against Potapova for organising the activities of an extremist organisation on charges of involvement in the non-existent "International LGBT Movement". The next day she was taken into custody. According to her, while she was in the pre-trial detention centre, equipment worth one million rubles was stolen from the club, but it was not possible to initiate criminal proceedings - the authorities responded to the application that there was no corpus delicti.

On 27 December 2024, Potapova was placed under house arrest. At the end of November 2025, she left Russia.
