Case summary

Detained on 8 June 2020 in front of the Prosecutor's Office of Leninsky District of Chelyabinsk during a rally against police abuse. On the 10th of June, he was arrested on suspicion of participating in the operations of an extremist organization.

Prosvirnin, as well as Golubev and Kryshka, who were detained with him, were subjected to an operational experiment, which involved, according to the unregistered "Other Russia", an embedded officer of the Central Investigative Committee. They were detained near the Chelyabinsk Prosecutor's Office in the Leninsky District while "attempting to set fire to the building." The investigation refers to the bottles containing incendiary material and the "NBP armbands" discovered at the scene as evidence of their plan to set fire to the building. Two more people were detained alongside them and are listed in the case under other surnames.

On 15 September he was sentenced to three years of probation.
