for pouring water on prosecutor Alexei Smirnov after the Manezhny case sentence, a report was drawn up under the article on a threat or violent actions in connection with the administration of justice or pretrial investigation; Smirnov and police officers claimed that he shouted "Death to the prosecutor!", although other eyewitnesses and video footage did not confirm this; he was placed in a pre-trial detention centre; it was later agreed that Putenikhin would plead guilty and the charge would be reclassified under the article on insulting a representative of the authorities; on the day the decision on the measure of restriction was made, he was dismissed from work after a call from the investigator; he was sentenced to seven months of corrective labour
