Case summary

3 March 2022 Rabota was detained after a search, on 5 March the court decided to take him into custody. On 29 June he was placed under house arrest, and on 28 July a preventive measure in the form of a ban on certain actions was chosen. On 7 December 2023, the judge hearing Rabota's case recused herself. She explained that she had previously heard a similar criminal case against Lyubov Ovchinnikova and Lyubov Kocherova. Both cases involve the same witnesses, and she had already evaluated their testimony. On 10 July 2024 Rabota was sentenced to six years' suspended sentence. On 17 September, the court reduced Rabota's sentence from six to five years' suspended sentence
