Case summary
A resident of the Zabaikalsky Krai. On 19 March 2026, he was searched, after which he was detained and taken into custody on 21 March on charges of organising the activities of an extremist organisation, namely the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters.
