Case summary

Wife of Richard Rose, prosecuted for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces and publicly justifying terrorism.

14 April 2022 detained, later elected a measure of restraint in the form of a ban on certain actions. On 5th October it became known that she was also accused of calls to extremism. On 12th October, the preventive measure was terminated. After Rose's case went to court, it became known that she left Russia. She was put on a wanted list. At the end of May 2023, she was detained in Armenia, but was soon released. On 30th August, the case was resumed in court.

On 29th January 2024, Rose was sentenced in absentia to five and a half years in prison.
