Case summary
On 22 December 2016, he was detained on suspicion of involvement in the "Moscow cell" of Tablighi Jamaat, the next day he was taken into custody. He pleaded guilty, entered into an agreement with the investigation to consider the case under special procedure. On 28 November 2017, he was sentenced to two years in a general regime penal colony. He was released in December 2018.
