Case summary
Resident of St. Petersburg. On July 28, 2025 he was detained on the charges of desecration of the symbol of military glory. The case was initiated after three young men came to the Blockade Tram monument at night: two of them climbed on the roof of the tram; one of them broke the commemorative plaque and several components of the tram. From the published video from the surveillance camera it is evident that the third man was standing aside all this time. The pro-government Mash on Moika Telegram channel wrote that one of the men also urinated on the memorial. On July 30, the court placed Semyonov under house arrest.
