Case summary
On 1 November 2021, Sergeyev's home was searched. The next day he was interrogated as part of the case of organising the activities of an extremist organisation. A measure of restraint was chosen in the form of recognizance not to leave. On 2 May 2024 he was sentenced to six years and four months sentence on probation. On 4 July 2024, the court of appeal reduced the sentence by one month.
