Case summary
A resident of the Bakhchisarai district of Crimea. On 12 February 2026 he was detained after a search. The next day, the court sent him to custody on charges of organising activities of a terrorist organisation. Seitaliev is accused of involvement in the Islamic party "Hizb ut-Tahrir". Representatives of this community are prosecuted under terrorist articles solely on the basis of party affiliation: none of those accused of connections to Hizb ut-Tahrir has been found to have been involved in any violence.
