Zaur Shaubov

According to the court, since 2015, Shaubov, knowing with certainty that the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to ban the activities of At-Taqfir wal-Hijra in connection with extremist activities had entered into legal force, committed deliberate acts directly related to the continuation of the activities of the Association by directly participating in propaganda talks and meetings of the Association's members. Shaubov directly participated in meetings of members of Al-Taqfir wal Hijra, where they collectively discussed the activities of Al-Taqfir wal Hijra aimed at establishing the world domination of a radical form of Islam and the creation of a single Islamic State in the Russian Federation, the "World Caliphate", and also engaged in the interpretation of religious literature on the ideology of the Association, including the author Mustafa Shukri, which is prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation. During the meetings held, members of At-Taqfir wal-Hijra called for ignoring the laws of the Russian Federation, and by joint decisions declared "takfir", i.e. accused of disbelief persons who do not support the ideology of At-Taqfir wal-Hijra.
