Case summary

Resident of Dzhankoy (Crimea), auto electrician. On 15 June 2023, the telegram channel "Crimean SMERSH" published a video of Shved's detention, a selection of his publications in Tik-Tok, as well as an apology video in which the blogger holds the flag of Russia and thanks Vladimir Putin. On 16 June, the court in Simferopol considered three administrative cases against Shved: insulting the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the CAO), discrediting the Armed Forces (article 20.3.3 of the CAO) and distributing extremist symbols (article 20.3 of the CAO). In the first two cases he was fined 30 thousand rubles each, in the third case he was arrested for 15 days. On 14 July, the same Telegram channel reported that "Shved has several more criminal cases ahead of him". Later it became known that against Shvedov on 13 July 2023 initiated a case of rehabilitation of Nazism because of a post with statements against 9 May: according to the telegram channel ASTRA, he was denounced by members of the movement "SMERSH", calling for reprisals against people with an anti-war position. Shved was taken into custody. Shved's mother also told about some messages, in her opinion, attributed to her son, which talk about buying or making drones, as well as about the fact that his girlfriend's brother died in Ukraine (the mother claims that Shved's girlfriend does not have a brother).

On 27 February 2024, Shved was sentenced to two and a half years in a general regime colony.

On 30 July 2025, Shved was released from prison and on the same day was detained on a new case - on public justification of terrorism because of a social media publication in October 2022. He was placed in custody the next day. In December 2025, it was reported that he was sentenced to four years, taking into account the first sentence.
