Case summary

A pastor, a former chairmen of Russian Union of Evangelical Baptist Christians and vice-president of Worldwide Baptist Alliance. Sipko emigrated from Russia. At 8 August Sipko's house was searched, his son Kirill was questioned as a witness and gave a non-disclosure agreement. The Investigative Committee has informed that searches were also conducted at certain Sipko's "associates" in Moscow and Kaluga. The pastor was placed on wanted list.

Sipko's father was also a baptist pastor and was sentenced to five years of exile in 1961.
