Case summary

A resident of Crimea. A case on desecration of the symbol of military glory and abuse of the state symbol was opened against him because he spat in a box for collecting humanitarian aid for the Russian military. The box depicted a Z-shaped St George's ribbon and the flag of the Russian Federation. On 22 September 2025, Skrypnyk was sentenced to a year in a penal colony.
