Case summary

Ukrainian journalist who co-operated with Russian media. On 26 July 2023, it became known that a criminal case on military "fakes" was opened against Sokolovska. The journalist's Moscow flat was searched. According to RBC, Sokolovskaya and her family left Russia for Europe after the outbreak of a full-scale war. On 23 January 2025, the journalist was sentenced to seven and a half years in absentia.
