became a follower of Said Nursi in October 2012, visited Turkey from July 2014 to March 2015 to study the theologian's legacy and brought back banned literature; during meetings held at Sukharev's home and at the homes of his friends, he quoted Nursi's writings, thereby influencing the religious feelings of those present in order to gradually change their personalities and worldviews in accordance with the ideology of "Nurdjular", with the aim of Islamising the population and establishing an Islamic State.

Full summary
On 24 March 2017, Sukharev's flat was searched. He was charged with participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. Sukharev was released on his own recognizance. On 12 February 2018, the charge was filed in final form, on 27 March the case came to court, on 20 April the consideration on the merits began.
On 28 February 2019, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office.
In December it became known that the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for Krasnoyarsk Krai terminated the criminal case due to lack of corpus delicti.
