Case summary

Resident of Altai Krai and formerly of Shadrinsk, Kurgan Oblast. On 23 June 2025, criminal proceedings were initiated against him for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community, which was groundlessly recognised as an extremist organisation and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation. He is under a non-deportation undertaking. On 31 July, the Investigative Committee reported about the transfer of the case to court. On 16 April 2026 Suslov was sentenced to a fine of 350 thousand rubles.

In 2021, Suslov was a witness in the case of another believer Alexander Lubin.
