Case summary

In April 2017, Roman Ternovskyy was subjected to search and investigation operations, including questioning, search and examination of video recordings, and Ternovskyy confirmed his participation in the Right Sector.

However, Ternovsky was detained only six months later on 12 October 2017 in Rostov-on-Don by Investigator Starichikhin V.D. He was transferred to Moscow and arrested on 13 October by Judge Lenskaya E.A. of the Basmanny District Court. Further investigation was conducted by A. S. Migunov. Ternovsky pleaded guilty in court and his case was heard under a special procedure. On 28 July 2018, he was sentenced to two years and three months in a general regime colony.

In August 2019, he was released.
