Case summary
A resident of the Amur region. On 4 October 2024, he was taken into custody on charges of financing extremist activities in connection with the transfer of money to the Artpodgotovka movement. Notably, he was included in the list of extremists and terrorists of Rosfinmonitoring with a marker typically used for individuals prosecuted under terrorism articles. On 17 July 2025, Trufanov was sentenced to three and a half years in a general regime colony. On 23 September 2025, the court of appeal replaced the imprisonment with forced labour.
