Case summary
Secretary of the congress of the Vladimir branch of the "Rassvet" party. On 10 October 2024, the homes of local activists were searched as part of the criminal case against him. On the same day, he was taken into custody. Later, head of the party Ekaterina Duntzova said that Germizin was charged with public justification of terrorism because of some posts and comments he published in Telegram. According to the investigation, he called for blowing up state buildings. Vladimir activist and author of the anti-war project "Resonance" Danil Belyakov, who has studied Germizin's comments in several Telegram communities, suggests that the comments in question concern the news about arsons of military recruitment centres. On 5 February 2025, he was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony.
Germizin was also charged with financing extremist activities and treason. According to the investigation, he transferred cryptocurrency to ACF and the AFU, including "radical nationalist armed formations". On 19 March 2026, he was sentenced on these charges to 15 years in a strict regime colony.
