According to the investigation, he published some "discrediting" posts about the Russian army in an unnamed social network in November 2022. It later became known that the reason for the case was comments made in the Telegram chat room of the publication "Chernovik" by a user with the nickname FT. In March 2022, Tsechoev was fined 30,000 rubles under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offences) because of comments in Telegram with the text "Putin's naZists promised a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol, and when the evacuation began, they opened fire on it" and "From every window the occupants can be hit!
