Case summary

A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. On 26 May 2023, she was searched as part of a case of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation in connection with her involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community.

Members of this community are prosecuted under extremism laws solely on the basis of their religious activities: holding meetings and worship services, and involving new supporters.

On 1 October 2025, the court sentenced Voitko to two years' suspended sentence.
