Case summary
Alexander Zamyatin is one of the prominent nationalists and activists among football fans in Kirov, a representative of the the Russian March organising committee in Kirov, one of the founders of the Kirov regional public organisation "Club of Fans of Football Club 'Dynamo' Kirov". The organisation was recognised as extremist. On 27 October 2015, Zamyatin was sentenced to two years in a penal colony for publishing information materials with nationalist and fan orientation on a page titled "Management of FC Dynamo Kirov Fan Club". Taken into custody immediately after the verdict. In August 2017, the court decided to place Zamyatin under administrative supervision for eight years. On 26 October 2017, Zamyatin was released.
