Case summary
On 14 October 2014, Radik was detained during a search and on 15 October he was arrested together with seven other people in connection with alleged involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is not related to terrorism. On 8 December 2017, Radik was sentenced to 16 years in a strict regime penal colony.
