Some sources referred to Zdor as a local resident, while others reported that he was registered in Krasnyi Luch, Luhansk oblast. He was detained on 21 October 2022 on charges of desecrating symbols of military glory by burning wire on the Eternal Flame in Aleksin (Tula oblast). Zdor was taken into custody.
