Police in Krasnodar detained a 19-year-old local resident on suspicion of recording and distributing a video showing a fire at a Wildberries warehouse after a Ukrainian drone strike, law enforcement officials said.
The clip, which circulated in local Telegram channels, shows the woman pointing at the burning warehouse and saying sarcastically: "Great, mom is out of a job!"
Officers from the Center for Combating Extremism (Center E) flagged the video. Police said the woman's actions violated a ban imposed in Krasnodar Krai in September 2025 on filming and distributing footage of air defense systems and the aftermath of drone strikes.
Police forced the detainee to apologize on camera. She faces a fine of 30,000 to 50,000 rubles (about $330 to $550).
Ukrainian drones struck the Wildberries warehouse in Krasnodar on July 22. The building caught fire, several people were injured, and one of the injured later died in hospital. Damage from strikes on the company's warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could reach 120 billion rubles (over $1.5 billion), according to research agency Data Insight.
The attack was the fourth on Wildberries facilities in the past week. Ukrainian authorities have described strikes on warehouses as part of a military operation targeting Russian logistics, which they say supplies the Russian army with drone components and equipment.
