Starting in mid-June, Moscow residents have been required to submit applications for foreign passports on the city's mos.ru portal exclusively through the state-run messenger Max, according to The Moscow Times, citing several residents.
On the appointment page of the portal, only one button is available — "fill out the application." It leads to a chatbot called "My Documents" inside Max. Without using it, users cannot proceed to the next step and schedule an appointment at a Multifunctional Center (MFC).
No other methods of submitting an application via mos.ru are provided.
