The Center for Unmanned Systems and Technologies (CBST) has taken its military marketplace Roи.Market out of pilot mode and into full operation, CBST board chairman Andrei Bezrukov told Kommersant. Starting August 1, the platform moved to a new IT system designed for mass self-service seller onboarding. Sellers can now list products, adjust prices, track inventory, and manage paperwork through a personal account.
Roи.Market has existed since early 2025. During the pilot phase, the platform's team handled a significant share of operations, building logistics and testing the military supply model. Starting September 1, the service is planned to connect technical and operational units of the Defense Ministry.
The catalog already includes drone components, 3D printers, fiber-optic coils, antennas, and chargers. By 2027, the center aims to expand the catalog to over 10,000 items, adding manufacturers of uniforms, protective gear, and body armor. CBST is targeting sellers already working on Wildberries and Ozon but restricted from trading military goods—Wildberries, for example, bans the sale of ready-made army equipment and fabrics for its production.
The platform's commission on turnover will be “significantly lower” than on mass-market services, though sellers will have to cover logistics themselves. For comparison, Wildberries' average commission in 2025 was 21.3%, and Ozon's was 22.9% depending on category. Roи.Market's logistics are shifting to a distributed 4PL model: goods can be stored at the seller's site until an order is placed, and delivery is handled by multiple operators simultaneously. The center says this is to reduce risks from concentrating stock in one location.
User access to the platform remains restricted, requiring individual authorization. A new feature allows third-party payment: a completed cart can be shared via link with someone willing to pay for it—CBST wants to bring charitable foundations into this scheme. If a needed item is not listed, a customer can send a direct request or recommend a supplier, who will then be vetted by the marketplace team.
Beyond the Defense Ministry, CBST plans to connect other security agencies to the service and develop a B2B segment.
