A fire broke out at a Wildberries logistics warehouse in Yekaterinburg after a drone attack, according to RWB, the company that operates the facility. Fire crews are working at the site, RWB said.
Staff had been evacuated in advance. Presidential envoy to the Ural Federal District Artyom Zhoga said 800 people were taken out and no one was injured. Incoming shipments are temporarily suspended and being redirected to other facilities.
Sverdlovsk Region Governor Denis Pasler said Russian military and mobile fire teams shot down eight drones. Three more, he said, fell on the roof of the logistics center. Russia's Defense Ministry said that overnight, 203 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions and annexed Crimea.
Koltsovo Airport imposed temporary restrictions on flight arrivals and departures overnight, lifting them by morning. Photos and videos circulating online show two separate fire sites at the warehouse.
