Mejit Ablyamitov

According to the investigation, on 6 March 2016, Ablyamitov left Crimea for Ukraine to participate in the APF. Ablyamitov allegedly supported the goals of the "Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion", which were contrary to the interests of the Russian Federation, and knew about the presence of firearms there. On the basis of witness testimony, the investigation established that in the battalion he was engaged in economic affairs and security, carried out combat duty and underwent firearms training. On 10 July 2016, Medzhit Ablyamitov returned to Crimea. At the same time, neither when crossing the border, nor later, he did not apply to the authorities of the Russian Federation with a statement on voluntary cessation of participation in the APF. Therefore, according to the investigation, he continued his participation in the activities of the Battalion. Mejit Ablyamitov pleaded not guilty in court, but admitted that he participated in the activities of the formation "Asker", founded, as well as the "Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan", by Lenur Islyamov to patrol the border with Crimea. At the same time, he did not take weapons in his hands and did not undergo combat training.
