Case summary
He fought in the Russia-Ukraine war. In September 2022, after getting a leave, went to Kazakhstan. He became one of the founders of the "Goodbye to Arms" movement. This is a movement that helps defectors. Russia brought a case with allegations in desertion against Alexander. In October 2024, Alexander received a political asylum in France even though he did not have a travel passport.
