Pavel Andreev

Founder of the independent cultural space Revolt-Centre in Syktyvkar, from 2010 to 2022 he was an executive director of the 7x7 publication. On 8 July 2025, employees of Revolt-Centre were searched in a case of high treason brought against Andreev.

The FSB claims that Andreev since 2019 for money had been helping representatives of foreign intelligence services in activities against security and for a long time "had been maintaining tacit contacts with representatives of NATO countries, as well as organisations used by foreign intelligence services as a cover for intelligence and subversive activities in Russia". According to the FSB version, Andreev was engaged in projects aimed at violating the territorial integrity and constitutional order of Russia.

On October 20, 2025, the "Beware of the News" telegram channel reported that, according to the investigation, Andreev was engaged in "decolonial activities" in the interests of the representative of Denmark and worked in the organisation "Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives", which cooperated with the European authorities and, in particular, worked on the creation of a "society of deserters in Armenia". However, according to the Telegram channel, Andreev was not connected to the Platform of Civil, Anti-War and Humanitarian Initiatives, and the investigation confused him with his namesake Pavel Andreev, a former organiser of entertainment events in Ulyanovsk.
