Implementing his criminal intent aimed at the public dissemination of materials aimed at forming an ideology of terrorism, a belief in its attractiveness, an idea that terrorist activity is permissible, an idea that the ideology and practice of terrorism are correct and need to be supported and imitated, that is, an ideology of violence and a practice of influencing decision-making by State authorities, local authorities or international organizations, associated with the intimidation of the population, and other forms of unlawful violent actions, realizing the illegality and unlawfulness of their actions and desiring the onset of socially dangerous and unlawful consequences in the form of inciting other citizens to carry out terrorist activities, supporting the terrorist activities of the Ukrainian paramilitary association "Legion of Freedom of Russia", which by the Decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated March 16, 2023 was recognized as a terrorist organization (its activities on the territory of the Russian Federation are prohibited), acting deliberately and publicly, on May 25, 2023 at about 2:01 pm, being in their home at the above address, using a personal computer the Windows 10 Pro operating system, iPhone 14 Pro Max mobile phone, having access to the Internet, having access to the VKontakte social network, using the user page "Vladislav Apestin", a page which is used and edited by him, posted a video recording of an appeal by the "Legion of Freedom of Russia" to the Russians, containing, according to the conclusion of a forensic psychological and linguistic examination, a set of psychological and linguistic signs of propaganda and ideology of the Ukrainian paramilitary association "Legion of Freedom of Russia", which are expressed by a positive assessment of the ideology of their activities, convincing the target addressee of Russians of the need, correct nature, significance of these ideologies of activity, the socio-psychological orientation of the information presented by the video recording and the publication as a whole, the formation in the addressee of a positive emotional and semantic attitude towards the ideology and activities of the organization "Legion of Freedom of Russia", a readiness to accept the proposed point of view. The recording was posted publicly and repeatedly viewed by a wide range of Internet users. By his actions Apestin promote the ideology of terror, prepares the basis for its spread, forms public opinion on the need to promote and support terrorists, tolerance to their actions, makes an attempt to change the worldview of an indeterminate number of people regarding these criminal activities.
