Human rights defender from North Ossetia, former deputy of the Assembly of Representatives of the Pravoberezhny District of North Ossetia, founder of the Crimean Human Rights Group. Since 2014, he has been living in Kyiv. In June 2025, ASTRA reported that he was charged with calls to terrorism because of a Facebook post on March 16, 2022. In this post Aseev wrote commenting the information about possible Russian losses in Ukraine: "Why the fuck are Ossetians going to Ukraine to die? Stay at home! If you want to kill someone, kill Putin!"
