Case summary
An Ukrainian serviceman. He was taken prisoner no later than 30 December 2024. Criminal proceedings were initiated against him for participation in a terrorist organization in connection with his involvement in the 48th Separate Assault Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). On 29 September 2025, Batog was sentenced to 17 years in a maximum-security penal colony.
