Case summary

In 2022, he was also fined because of an anti-war graffiti on the building of the local movie theater "Sibir" (under the article on discrediting the army - part 1 of article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code) and because of a graffiti with a symbol that the court found to be confusingly similar to Nazi symbols (under the article on the demonstration of Nazi symbols - part 1 of article 20.3 of the Administrative Code). On May 24, 2022 Batranin was detained for "testing for involvement in a crime of extremist nature". The law enforcers involved in his detention stated that the young man pushed them and "banged his head against the door and windows of the car". Because of this, he was also assigned an administrative arrest for 24 hours. On May 11, 2023 Batranin was sentenced, the details are unknown.
