Case summary
Ukrainian serviceman. He was captured in May 2022. He was prosecuted for murder committed by an organised group with a hate motive and for cruel treatment of civilians: according to the investigation, he killed a female resident of Mariupol. On 22 September 2025, Belinov was sentenced in this case to 23 years in a strict regime colony. In addition, a case was brought against him for participation in the activities of a terrorist community in connection with involvement in the activities of the battalion Azov. On 16 March 2026, taking into account the previous sentence, Belinov was sentenced to 27 years in a strict regime colony.
