On 22 February 2024 he was taken into custody in a case of vandalism because of a "bad (according to other sources, "inaccurate" - OVD-Info) inscription" about Putin on the facade of a gas distribution point. On 21 June 2024, Blinov was sentenced to a year of restricted freedom.
