According to the investigation, he partook in the activities of the Latvian International Christian Movement "New Generation", which was recognised as an "undesirable organisation". In February 2022, Bogoslavsky was fined five thousand rubles under the administrative article on carrying out activities of an "undesirable organisation" (20.33 of the Administrative Code) in connection with a conference that took place in December 2021 in Ramenskoye near Moscow.

Full summary
Pastor of Christ the Saviour Evangelical Church in Anapa. Detained in August 2022. VK Press news outlet claims that Bogoslavskyy (or another defendant in the case, Nikolai Ulitin) "created an entire network" in Russia to collect donations for the Ukrainian battalions Azov and Aidar. On 4 April 2023, Bogoslavsky was sentenced to a year in a penal colony. Presumably, he was released in June 2024.
