Case summary
Resident of Tver, cable internet installer. In December 2022, he was detained by FSB officers on the platform of the railway station in Tver while trying to leave for Ukraine. According to Andrei Trofimov, who is sitting with him in the same pre-trial detention centre, Borisov was actually on his way to fight in the AFU, in the "Freedom of Russia" legion. On 13 March 2023, he was sentenced to six years in a strict regime colony on charges of preparing for high treason.
