Case summary
A resident of Almetyevsk. In June 2023, he was detained in the Belgorod region, reportedly confessing that he intended to join the Freedom of Russia Legion. Abishev was taken into custody and charged with preparing to participate in the activities of a terrorist organisation and with high treason. On 14 February 2024, he was sentenced to nine years in a strict regime colony.
