Case summary

The resident of Belgorod, an employee of a company engaged in maintenance of elevators. On 25 February, he spray-painted several anti-war inscriptions at the public transport stop "Vodstroy". Two citizens grabbed him, threw him to the ground and held him until the police arrived. Devyatov later told "Support Service" that after his detention he was beaten by officers of the Center for Combating Extremism. On 27 October 2022, Devyatov was sentenced to two years of restriction of freedom.
