According to the investigation, "in order to encourage customers ... to attempt to attack the life of a statesman, he deliberately placed on the products of the hypermarket, namely on a package of crab sticks, a package of sweets, and a mat for drying dishes, postcards with the text beginning with the words "Our Batko..." (Ukrainian: "our father") and ending with the words "... Novim Rokom" (Ukrainian: "New Year") containing public calls to carrying out terrorist activity by inciting an indefinite number of persons to attempt to attack the life of the President of the Russian Federation in order to stop his state activity".

Full summary
Jeweller, resident of the Leningrad region. Detained along with his wife on 24 January 2024 on suspicion of calls for terrorism. The next day he was sent to custody. On 18 July 2024, sentenced to three years' imprisonment in a colony-settlement. On 19 February 2026, Dotsenko died in hospital, where he was taken after a heart attack.
