Case summary

She arrested on 3 October 2012. She signed a confession because the investigator and the appointed lawyer convinced her that the mere fact of sending SMS to a citizen of another country was already treason. On 1 November 2013, she was sentenced to twelve years in a general regime colony; on 27 February 2014, the sentence was upheld. In April 2017, she was transferred to Moscow for a review of the case. On 29 July 2017, pardoned, released on 8 August
