Felix Eliseev

He is a resident of Lipetsk, the author of the “Kalkhoznoye Madness” Telegram channel and administrator of the “Nechaevshchina” and “It Fell Apart” public pages on VKontakte. The first case of public justification of terrorism was initiated in late 2022; Eliseev was taken into custody. The second case was opened on 28 April 2023. Eliseev said that he was not provided with medical care in the pre-trial detention centre.

In October 2023, a case of treason was reported to have also been initiated against Eliseev. The local branch of a state TV channel reported that he had transferred money to the crypto account of a Ukrainian citizen, which was used to buy “uniforms and ammunition used by the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during combat operations against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”.

The project “Support for Political Prisoners. Memorial” notes that the count of treason bears signs of falsification. The story about the detention of a “sponsor of militants” and the initiation of a treason case was broadcast on Lipetsk television in September 2023, nine months after Eliseev was taken into custody over the first case. In addition, during his “arrest” the alleged “sponsor of militants” was wearing a black dry-fit jacket, but he gave a “confession” on camera wearing a white sweater and grey jacket. Human rights activists assume that the “arrest”, for the filming of which Eliseev was brought to court, and the “confession” were recorded on different days.

On 19 December 2023, Eliseev was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime colony.

According to Eliseev, he spent three and a half months in a cell with high humidity, fungus and mould on the walls, which caused him to develop a cough. On 14 April he was transferred to another cell, but received no medical assistance.
