Case summary

On 7 May 2022, he was detained and then taken into custody on charges of spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces and the rehabilitation of Nazism. Pleaded guilty. On 21 July he was sentenced to six months in a penal colony. He was released on 8 August. Later he said that during his arrest in May at his home the law enforcers beat him with feet, and after he started to call for help, they taped his mouth with duct tape. Then they blindfolded him and took him for interrogation, where they continued to hit, insult and threaten him.

In November, Eichendorf and his friend were searched in Kursk, for what reason - it is not known.
