According to the court, "in October 2023, the defendant posted in a group of one of the messengers created by him, under the guise of authentic messages, knowingly false information containing data on the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, to maintain international peace and security. In September 2024 the defendant, in order to avoid criminal liability for what he had done, during a conversation with an FSB officer offered him a bribe in the amount of 300 thousand roubles (US$3690) and gave him a part of the agreed amount for the termination of the procedural check being conducted against him. When detained, the defendant again attempted to bribe the FSB officers in the amount of 300 thousand rubles (US$3690)." The reason for the initiation of a case of "fakes" were the messages in a chat room for five people, dedicated to the death of civilians as a result of Russian shelling of the village of Groza near Kharkiv.
