Case summary

A resident of Sterlitamak, who was a minor at the time of the persecution. In April 2023, her home was searched, and the law enforcers seized her personal diaries and equipment. According to the expertise of the seized items, since the spring of 2022, the schoolgirl had been corresponding in social networks with her peers and propagandised among them the idea of attacking educational institutions. In October, law enforcers opened a second criminal case. According to the investigation, the girl allegedly sent several files to unknown people, which "attractively" presented the organisers of the mass shooting at the Columbine school. On 19 March 2024, Garipova was sentenced to five and a half years in a general regime colony.
