Case summary
A resident of Sverdlovsk region. A case was opened against him for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. In April 2025, the case was sent to court. There were two episodes in the case.
On 23 May 2025, Gavrikov was sentenced to nine months of corrective labour in one of the episodes, the prosecution on the second episode was discontinued due to the expiration of the statute of limitations. In the first episode, he was charged with an anti-military comment on VKontakte.
Four days before the criminal trial judgment, Gavrikov was fined 30,000 rubles under the protocol on discrediting the army due to comments on VKontakte.
